The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce that the 12th edition of its annual Architecture+Design Film Festival (A+DFF) will take place in Winnipeg this year from April 26th – 30th. Here is a chance to travel the world from your theatre seat.
A+DFF presents critically acclaimed films from around the world that focus on the importance of architecture and design in everyday life. The films cover a range of design-oriented topics from architecture and urban design to graphics and product design. A+DFF, this Canadian festival, devoted solely to architecture and design, is presented by the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation, Urban Idea and Dave Barber Cinematheque.
This year’s festival will present 22 films from 11 countries including Poland, England, Australia, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, France, Germany, Canada and the USA, with several Canadian premieres.Of particular note is a series of new short films about Winnipeg architecture called Places+Spaces Winnipeg.
