The International Union of Architects (UIA) announces the bi-monthly international architectural awards program organized by World Architecture News (WAN), an online international architectural magazine and UIA media partner. Each award session recognizes recently built and/or unbuilt projects in the following sectors: health care; civic buildings; urban design; commercial buildings; and residential buildings.
The UIA is associated with this initiative devoted to excellence in design, which was established to highlight the dynamism of the profession around the world. The next session focuses on health-care facilities. Buildings completed after January 1, 2007, along with unbuilt projects, can be presented.
All entries will be published on the World Architecture News (WAN) site. The winning entry will be awarded a 12-month subscription to the worldwide tender announcement service – WAN Tender alerts, worth £1,250.
The deadline for submissions for this session is April 30, 2010.
The participation fee is £350. Early registration before the March 31, 2010 will enjoy a preferential rate of £296.
First-time entrants can obtain a 20% reduction off the registration fee using the code UIADI when registering on the WAN website at www.worldarchitecturenews.com/index.php?fuseaction=wanappln.sectorawards
