August 2, 2010
by Canadian Architect

The international Union of Architects announces the launch of the WAN Awards session devoted to urban design, and involves projects both completed and unbuilt. This award honours any urban design/infrastructure/transport projects (airports, bus/railway stations, urban parks) completed or designed over the past three years (on or after January 1, 2007).

The deadline for participation in this session of the WAN Awards is August 31, 2010. A 20% reduction on the registration fee is offered, and to benefit from this, please visit the UIA website at http://www.uia-architectes.org/texte/england/WAN10/2Urban.html.

Each session of this bi-monthly program focuses on a different sector. The next session will concern commercial buildings.

The WAN Awards program is organized by World Architecture News, the international online architecture magazine and UIA media partner.
