WAN Awards 2010: Civic Buildings

May 30, 2010
by Canadian Architect

The International Union of Architects (UIA) has announced this award, which recognizes recently completed or unbuilt projects in the civic buildings sector: museums, theatres, police stations or any other public buildings, constructed over the last three years – since January 1, 2007.

Architect Eva Jiricna will be the UIA representative on the jury. The submission deadline is June 30, 2010, and a 20% reduction in the registration fee is currently being offered. To benefit from this offer, please visit www.uia-architectes.org/texte/england/WAN10/2Civic.html.

Each section of this bi-monthly awards program is devoted to a different sector. The following session will recognize urban design projects around the world.

The WAN AWARDS program is organized by World Architecture News, an international online architectural magazine and UIA media partner.
