The Canadian Centre for Architecture presents the International Colloquium on Sustainability on Saturday June 16, at 9:30 am. Professionals and scholars present their visions on sustainability as it relates to architecture. Admission is free, and no reservations are required. Two seminars will also take place in June. Modernism and the Myth of Origins begins on Thursday, June 14 at 6:00 pm, and will be led by Mark Wilson-Jones, CCA Visiting Scholar and Senior Lecturer in Architecture, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Bath. The Modern Cult of Authenticity: Reproduction of Antiquity and the Location of Architecture in the 20th Century Museum follows one week later on Thursday June 21, at 6:00 pm. Can Bilsel, CCA Visiting Scholar and Chair, Department of Art, University of San Diego, leads this session.
