Everyone is invited to an open forum and discussion with invited panellists, councillors and candidates to focus on issues of intensification, regeneration and stability, and how to make a workable process for city growth.
The discussion takes place on Thursday, October 19 at 7:00pm at the Theatre Centre, 1087 Queen Street West at Dovercourt.
Moderator is Robert Ouellette, editor of readingtoronto.ca, and panellists include: Adam Giambrone, Councillor, Ward 18; John Sewell, Candidate, Ward 21; Adam Vaughan, Candidate, Ward 20; Simon Wookey, Candidate, Ward 18; and a representative from Active 18.
Beginning with an introduction to the current situation in the Queen West Triangle by a member of Active 18, the panellists will discuss their take on building in Toronto, how it affects Ward 18, but also wards throughout the city.
The evening is part of the ongoing TSA Forum, a regular bi-monthly city event sponsored by the Toronto Society of Architects. Special sponsor for the evening is AutoShare. The TSP Forum brings together architects and friends of architecture and the city for conversation, lectures, panel discussions and exhibits.
