Toronto Community Housing issues request for prequalifications for housing

Toronto Community Housing, Canada’s largest provider of social housing, and one of Toronto’s largest residential developers invites architectural firms to submit general prequalification information to be used for selection of design teams to undertake the various housing and city-building initiatives on their agenda.

 

Environmentally sustainable design, architectural excellence, and building great neighbourhoods are hallmarks of Toronto Community Housing’s development projects.

 

Prequalifications are requested in three types of assignments:

 

• Large-site residential complex inlcuding master plan and/orbuildings over 100,000 square feet

• Small residential buildings, townhouses and full building renovations under 100,000 square feet, including infill projects

• Non-residential institutional/recreational facilities

 

Interested firms should download the Request for Prequalifications from Toronto Community Housing’s website at www.torontohousing.ca – click on “Business Opportunities.”

 

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, January 29, 2009.
