The Works Art & Design Festival takes place next year from June 20 to July 2, 2008 in Edmonton, Alberta, and is currently accepting applications for its Art Market. The application deadline is November 16, 2007.
The Works International Visual Arts Society advances the development, awareness and appreciation of art and design in Canada and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas between artists, designers and the public. The Works Art & Design Festival is the largest art and design festival in North America, boasting over 5 million visitors.
Taking an entire year to produce, The Works provides and eclectic mix of artisans and craftspeople that inspire festival-goers for 13 days. The juried festival pursues top quality original art and craft, and prefers hand-crafted, locally made art and designs.
The Works Festival offers artisans a unique opportunity to showcase their craft and promote their talents through three options: tents, co-op tables, or consignment. Artisans and designers can safely and securely sell and showcase their craft in one of our centrally located canopied booths.
