The 2011 graduating class at OCAD University (OCAD U) invites the public to The Show Off, the university’s 96th annual graduate exhibition, to take place from May 5 to 8, 2011.
The Show Off presents the work of the class of 2011, an eclectic mix of more than 500 graduating students working in 12 undergraduate programs ranging from drawing and painting, printmaking, photography, criticism and curatorial practice, integrated media and sculpture/installation in the Faculty of Art, to advertising, environmental, industrial and graphic design, illustration and material art and design (jewellery, fibre and ceramics) in the university’s Faculty of Design. Each year, the annual graduate exhibition transforms the university’s main building and the acclaimed Sharp Centre for Design into the biggest exhibition of the year.
The Show Off schedule is as follows:
Opening Night is on Thursday, May 5 from 6:30pm to 10pm (remarks at 7:30pm)
Friday, May 6 from 9:30am to 8:00pm
Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 from 11:00am to 6:00pm
Admission is pay what you can, and all are welcome.
