Join the Design Exchange for their annual party celebrating all things creative. DX Intersection is a vital and preeminent annual fundraising event for Design Exchange that is anticipated and attended by hundreds of art, fashion, design and philanthropic guests. Each year, the DX celebrates a Canadian individual or partnership that exemplifies creativity, outstanding talent, and innovative vision.

In 2015, the DX recognizes and honours a partnership that has risen to international acclaim and influence. The Design Exchange is delighted to announce George Yabu & Glenn Pushelberg, founders of Yabu Pushelberg, as the DXI 2015 Awardees.

Yabu Pushelberg is responsible for high-profile projects around the globe such as Ian Schrager’s Miami Beach Edition Hotel (unveiled during last year’s Art Basel), Hong Kong’s luxurious Lane Crawford fashion retailer, the opulent Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, and also in Toronto—Avenue Road—one of the world’s most beautiful furniture showrooms.

On November 7, 2015 join the Design Exchange to celebrate this dynamic, inspiring and influential pair. Eat, drink, dance and celebrate with friends and colleagues in a fashion befitting George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg; a party like those for which they have become renowned for hosting. Costumes reflecting your interpretation of KISMET are both welcome and encouraged.

The donor dinner takes place from 7:00pm to 10:00pm; the party starts at 9:00pm and winds down at 2:00am. Interactive installations and ethereal interventions curated by Yabu Pushelberg promise to up the ante at this year’s annual all-things-creative celebration at Design Exchange. Culinary adventures beckon, and live entertainment includes special guest New York City’s Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6 and Hercules & Love Affair) and much, much more.

The Design Exchange is located at 234 Bay Street in Toronto. Tickets are on sale soon.
