Summer Camps at the Design Exchange

May 29, 2006
by Canadian Architect

The Design Exchange (DX) will hold its annual Summer Design Camps program once again. Starting July 10th and running until September 1st, the DX will offer eight weekly sessions for campers ages 7 to 15. All camps take place at the DX at 234 Bay Street in downtown Toronto, conveniently accessible by TTC.

This year’s camp themes include graphic design, museum exhibit design, jewelry design, fashion design, toy design, and architecture. These camps are a fantastic introduction to the elements of design for young learners in a fun and creative setting.

These camps are led by design professionals and educators. Sessions are held at the DX, at Bay and King Streets. Offsite field trips to other attractions are usually arranged (with parental permission).

Camp hours are 9.00am 4.30pm. Extended care is available for a nominal fee. Regular registration fees are $290, or $275 for DX Members.

For more information, please visit www.dx.org/education/summercamp.html and download the registration form. Please contact [email protected] or call 416.216.2160 for more information.
