Taking place from May 25-28, 2011 in Arvida, Quebec, the SSAC annual conference features keynote speaker Professor Lucie K. Morisset from the Department of Urban Studies and Tourism at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Numerous speakers will present on a variety of topics; the presenters include architect Patrick Stewart from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, George Thomas Kapelos of Ryerson University in Toronto, Kayhan Nadji of Kayhan Nadji Architects in Yellowknife, Steven Mannell of Dalhousie University in Halifax, and Bernard Flaman, Conservation Architect with Public Works and Government Services Canada in Regina.
Tours and exhibitions will be on offer during the four days, and the winner of the Phyllis Lambert Prize will be revealed and presented during the conference.
