The theme of the national conference is “Dialectics of Planning: Making the Connection and Thinking Change,” exploring planning in a dynamic laboratory where ideas are exchanged, research is presented and planners are exposed to the many dialects of planning within each specialization.

In addition to local and national speakers, conference highlights include: a charrette and various innovative mobile workshops, including the Regent Park Revitalization Project, the underground PATH system in Toronto’s central business district and a Toronto Transit Commission LRT Line Tour.
