Architecture Canada | RAIC is pleased to join with the AIA in presenting the annual AIA Architecture for Justice and Renewal taking place from October 10-12, 2012 at the Toronto Hilton Hotel. RAIC members interested in proposing presentations are invited to complete the submission form available at http://network.aia.org/AcademyofArchitectureforJustice/ViewDocument/?DocumentKey=b833a96c-e58f-490a-b859-94a8279d0f1f.
This call for presentations is being issued by the Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ). Provocative presentations and discussion topics from a wide range of viewpoints are being sought, and submissions of case studies that embrace the spirit of developing a dialogue with our communities are encouraged. The conference will be organized into four separate tracks, allowing for concurrent presentations: Courts, Law Enforcement, Detention/Corrections, and Other.
The AAJ welcomes proposals from all of those active in justice facilities including planners, architects, owners, public safety officials, officers and administrators, contractors and vendors.
Submissions must be received by Friday, May 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon EST.
