Enjoy a sneak preview of Migrating Landscapes, Canada’s official entry to the 2012 Venice Biennale in Architecture, at IIDEX NeoCon Canada in Toronto on September 22nd and 23rd! Organized and curated by 5468796 Architecture + Jae-Sung Chon, Migrating Landscapes is about how experiences of im/migration can be addressed in contemporary designs for dwellings by Canadian architects 45 and under. It will also confront the closing down of immigration policies globally, especially in Europe, and project Canada as one of the most engaging and promising models of social democracy in the 21st century.
Come see the preview at Booth #219, where you’ll meet some of the Migrating Landscapes team members and learn more about the project, the national competition, the regional exhibitions across Canada that will lead up to Venice, and what they will be presenting at the Biennale itself.
The IIDEX/NeoCon exposition is at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto on September 22nd and 23rd from 9:00am to 6:00pm. For more information, please visit www.iidexneocon.com. For more information about Migrating Landscapes, please visit www.migratinglandscapes.ca.
