The City of Saskatoon has begun development of a master plan for the North Downtown area, and they want to hear what your thoughts and comments are. Everyone is welcome to attend a session on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market, located at 414 Avenue B South. The session runs from 8:30am to 1:00pm.
The City wants to design a new neighbourhood that is: environmentally friendly, well-connected to the things you need to meet your daily needs, easy to walk around in, celebrates the city’s heritage, built around amenities like green public spaces, and a vibrant and great place to live.
Join the discussion at the kitchen table at the Farmers’ Market to get an overview of the project, or take in one of the hourly presentations beginning at 9:00am.
Additional events will occur in March and May, giving you an opportunity to check in with the project as the design progresses. There will also be opportunities to participate in an online survey – keep an eye out for more details.
