GDCMB presents Vol. 19 of PechaKucha in Winnipeg on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Who knows what will happen? Unpredictability is part of the appeal of PechaKucha Night. Often, a theme emerges organically – the speakers of a particular PKN circle around an issue. Sometimes it’s the notion of being responsible for the food we consume, other times it’s the idea of inequality and what people can do to make the world a fairer place.
We’re not sure how the October 23 PKN will look once it really happens but we’re pretty sure it will continue an awesome tradition. Some amazing people have been slotted to make their presentations in the 20 × 20 format (20 slides, 20 seconds each, adding up to six minutes and 40 seconds per person) and we’ll roll with the ideas they throw at us.
PechaKucha Night Winnipeg Vol. 19 takes place at the Park Theatre, located at 698 Osborne Street. Doors open at 7:30pm, and the show begins at 8:20pm. Admission is a suggested $10 donation at the door.
