On Friday, September 30, 2011, interested members of the public are invited to engage in a panel discussion on the future of architectural education at the University of Saskatchewan, potential areas of cross-disciplinary work and relationships between architecture and other academic units. The discussion will explore the many potential benefits of an architectural program to the University of Saskatchewan and to education in the province of Saskatchewan.
Featured panellists include: Frank Fantauzzi, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Architecture, University of Manitoba; Michael Jemtrud, Associate Professor, School of Architecture, McGill University; and Dr. Kendra Schank Smith, Chair and Associate Professor, Department of Architectural Science, Ryerson University.
The panel discussion will take place from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Convocation Hall located inside the College Building at the University of Saskatchewan, 105 Administration Place, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
