Ornament: Islamic Traditions and Contemporary Practices

This symposium at the University of Torontos Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design explores a renewed interest in ornament suggesting a fruitful convergence of long-established ornamental traditions of Islamic architecture and the emergent interests of contemporary western practice. The event takes place in Room 103 from 10:30am to 6:00pm on Saturday, December 1, 2007.
