On the Edge: Latest Views from Andrs Duany

by Canadian Architect

Andrs Duany is one of the most influential architects/planners alive today. From Seaside, Florida, to Vancouver’s East Fraserlands, Duany, as one of the founders of the Congress for the New Urbanism, continues to reinvent the character of planning and redefine the codes that shape our regions.

On Wednesday, January 16, Duany is going to the urban edge. Having already conducted a charrette for the East Fraserlands, Duany has been commissioned by Century Group to consider the opportunities at the suburban/rural edge in the Southlands of Tsawwassen.

This event takes place at 7:00pm at the Four Seasons Hotel, located at 791 Georgia Street in Vancouver. Admission is free, but reservations are required. Please e-mail [email protected] or call 778.782.5100.

On the Edge is sponsored by Century Group, and is organized with the Simon Fraser University City Program. For more information, please visit and
