OCAD University celebrates its 135th birthday with the annual Drawing & Painting Rock Show and Art Sale

This event at the Ontario College of Art & Design University takes place on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, featuring the sale of work by students and alumni in support of the Department of Drawing & Painting.

This is your one time only chance to see and acquire the artwork you always wanted from the finest established and up-and-coming artists from OCAD U’s vibrant community. The sale of artwork will be conducted as a silent auction of faculty, alumni and special guests. All student artwork from the Department of Drawing & Painting is featured at $200. Help out a starving art student, who receives 50% of the purchase price!

Performers at the rock show include: Fam Cypher Showcase, Man Made Hill, Black Absinthe, Fin and Sleepy Mean.

The event takes place in the auditorium of OCAD University, located at 100 McCaul Street in Toronto. Admission is a wallet-friendly $5, and all proceeds go toward the Drawing & Painting Fund. Support the legacy of 135 years of creativity and help the future of Canada’s finest painters!
