This year’s competition for the best in Mississauga urban design is underway. Nomination packages for the Mississauga Urban Design Awards are available now. The awards program, now in its 31st year, is the longest-running municipal urban design competition in Ontario.
“The Mississauga Urban Design Awards are about celebrating excellence in urban design,” said Ed Sajecki, Mississauga’s commissioner of Planning & Building. “They are also about letting residents know how committed we are to making sure they live in a beautiful, liveable city.”
The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2012 at 1:00pm. Nomination forms are available at www.mississauga.ca/portal/residents/urbandesignawards.
