Though active for a long time in Vancouver, the 140-person consulting engineering firm Halsall Associates has announced the establishment of a permanent office there. The office will be headed by Ted Denniston, an expert in building envelope technology who has been active in the investigation and repair of various components of the building envelope at over 300 buildings. The company’s Vancouver group will focus on cladding engineering, restoration, capital planning, due diligence and project management services. In addition, their expertise extends to structural engineering and sustainable design. The Vancouver office, the sixth branch for the firm, joins the company’s family of offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Burlington, Sudbury and Windsor Ontario.
