As part of its mandate to assist Intern Architects, the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) is hosting the next workshop which takes place on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Ryerson University.
The NCARB (A.R.E.) Exam workshop is a day of workshops and take-home exams that focus on preparing Intern Architects for the three graphic exams required for licensure: Building Planning, Building Technology and Site Design. Presented by Professor Norman Dorf, these workshops present the technique, strategy and graphic skills invaluable to all Intern Architects preparing for their exams. Norman Dorf has lectured on the NCARB exams throughout Canada and the United States for over 14 years. He was an examination writer and grader for 15 years and a former NCARB director serving as Committee Chairman for the development of computerized tests with NCARB. For information on Norman Dorf, please visit www.are-solutions.com.
The invitation is extended to Interns from outside the Toronto area to participate in this day-long workshop series. In the past Interns have attended from all over Ontario. For all those coming from out of town, please contact the TSA for supplemental information at email@example.com.
The TSA will also be hosting a two-weekend Structures and Lateral Forces seminar with Professor David Thaddeus in the fall. Please consult the TSA’s website for future updates mid-summer.
