London Design Festival

August 26, 2010
by Canadian Architect

First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of the world’s most important annual design events. Taking place from September 18-26, 2010 – the Festival is a nine-day celebration of design in the world’s creative capital. The Festival is a platform for the widest spectrum of design disciplines, brought together as a unique and accessible program.

With over 200 events, the majority of which are free to enter, the London Design Festival program reflects the widest possible range of design interests. Festival events are staged in up to 150 different venues across the city. The events and exhibitions are staged by around 160 contributing – or “partner” – organizations across the design spectrum and from around the world. Check individual event listings for details. The Festival’s hub is at the V&A Museum, which provides a good starting point from which to explore the Festival.
