June 14, 2011
by Canadian Architect

The public is invited to an open house at TCU Place in Saskatoon to view the concept drawings for the future Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan, and to hear how the architects arrived at their design. There will be a short presentation, followed by a question period.

The event takes place Wednesday, June 22, 2011, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Presentations by the KPMB design team take place at 5:30pm and 7:30pm, followed by questions and answers. A survey will be available to fill out at the open house, so visitors can leave comments about what they think of the new building.

The future Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan will be located at River Landing in Saskatoon, just west of 2nd Avenue and Spadina Crescent. Construction is expected to begin in 2012, with an opening anticipated for late 2014/early 2015.
