Canadian Architect invites architects registered in Canada and architectural graduates to enter the magazines 2007 Awards of Excellence. Projects must be in the design stage, scheduled for construction or under construction but not substantially complete by September 18, 2007. All projects must be commissioned by a client with the intention to build the submitted proposal. All building types and concisely presented urban design schemes are eligible.
Winners will be published in a special issue of Canadian Architect in December 2007. The deadline for submissions is 5:00pm Tuesday, September 18, 2007, and a fee of $50 per entry is required.
The jury for this year’s Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence has been finalized, and is comprised of Mark Ostry of Acton Ostry Architects Inc., Vancouver; Rene Daoust of Daoust Lestage Inc. Architecture Design Urbain, Montreal; and Jonathan Kearns of Kearns Mancini Architects Inc., Toronto.
The final deadline for all entries is 5:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Winners will be revealed in the December 2007 issue of Canadian Architect.
