From October 14 to 17, 2010, over 200 exhibitors will gather under the roof of Vancouver’s new convention centre for Western Canada’s premiere residential design event: Interior Design Show West (IDSwest). In addition to highlighting interior designers, architects, and design-focused products and services, this year’s show will also feature presentations from Canadian design celebrity Sarah Richardson, host of Sarah’s House on HGTV, as well as a student design feature, a “made in BC” complete living unit, a local design challenge, and the second annual installation of Designing Inside the Box.
From what began in 2004 as Design Vancouver, IDSwest has grown into one of the West Coast’s largest design events. Featuring some of the top architectural, interior, and landscape design firms in the country and numerous retailers showcasing quality products and services, the show provides a forum for both trade and consumers alike to explore design in a contemporary context through public workshops, presentations and innovative special features.
The Interior Design Show West (IDSwest) is Western Canada’s annual premiere residential design show attracts an audience of industry professionals, architects, designers, and consumers. The event attracts over 28,000 attendees over three and a half days, and roughly 22,000 of these are avid design enthusiasts looking to source and purchase some of the latest trends and innovations in contemporary home design. Tickets to IDSwest will be available at the door or online at www.idswest.com. Adult general admission is $15 and $10 for students. Opening night general admission is $20. Tickets pre-purchased online are available at a reduced rate of $10 until September 7, 2010. After September 7, tickets purchased online will be available at a reduced rate of $12.
