February 21 to 24, 2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the Interior Design Show (IDS), Canada’s premiere platform for contemporary residential design. In 10 years, millions of the newest and most exciting Canadian and international furnishings, fixtures and accessories for the design of a home have been launched and exhibited by hundreds of designers, manufacturers, importers, retailers, and distributors.

In the past, Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid, Barbara Barry and over 100 other internationally recognized design professionals and celebrities have provided inspiring talks and presentations on the main stage. Cutting-edge exhibits and features continue to highlight the most current in design trends. IDS is the complete design experience.

This year, speakers on professional trade day Friday, February 22, 2008 include Arne Quinze of Belgian design company Quinze & Milan; Dutch-born architect Winka Dubbeldam of New York’s Archi-tectonics; and designer Tom Dixon of Tom Dixon Studio in London, UK.

Since the show’s inception, over half a million design professionals, discriminating consumers and media have attended the IDS in search of new products, ideas and inspiration. Canadian Architect will also be at the show, so visit our booth and get to know us, the national review of design and practice and the journal of record for the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
