Happy Birthday Phyllis Lambert in Montreal

July 31, 2007
by Canadian Architect

This special exhibition celebrates the 80th birthday of Phyllis Lambert, Founding Director and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) in Montreal.

Selected from the CCAs collections of books, prints and drawings, photographs, and architectural archives, the objects on display form a tribute to her vision in building a unique museum and research centre devoted to the art of architecture past and present.

The exhibition brings to light some of the more curious, unusual and amusing objects that have entered the collection over the years, offering an unexpected glimpse into the wealth and variety of material at the CCA.

The exhibition is displayed in the hall cases, and runs until August 19, 2007.
