Clip/Stamp/Fold 2: The Radical Architecture of Little Magazines 196X-197X

March 21, 2007
by Canadian Architect

This exhibition is scheduled to run at Montreal’s Canadian Centre for Architecture from April 12 to September 9, 2007.

An explosion of independent architectural magazines in the 1960s and 1970s instigated a major transformation in architectural culture. Seventy international magazines from the period reveal a remarkable combination of avant-garde critical content with a radical use of graphics and images. Presented in collaboration with Princeton University School of Architecture, the exhibition provides a unique view of a key period of architectural experimentation and innovation.
