The awards will be presented in October 2014 at a gala event that combines the awards ceremony with the annual William Kilbourn Memorial Lecture, which is named for William Kilbourn, an academic, writer, politician, mentor and champion of the arts and humanities who personified the richness of life in Toronto. In his memory, a speaker is chosen each year who will reflect his passion and dedication to our city.
