Heritage Toronto Awards call for nominations deadline this week

Heritage Toronto has issued its call for nominations for its 2015 Awards program. Nominations are eligible for five categories:

William Greer Architectural Conservation and Craftsmanship
This award honours building owners for excellence in the restoration or adaptive reuse of a heritage building. Projects of all sizes will be considered.

Book
This category salutes non-fiction books about Toronto’s archaeological, built, cultural or natural heritage published in 2014.

Community Heritage
This cash prize award recognizes volunteer-based organizations which promote, protect or preserve Toronto’s archaeological, built, cultural or natural heritage.

Short Publication
This category celebrates print and online articles and booklets about Toronto’s archaeological, built, cultural or natural heritage published in 2014.

Media
This award recognizes production projects such as films, videos, websites and apps about Toronto’s archaeological, built, cultural or natural heritage.

The deadline for nominations in all categories is May 15, 2015 at 4:30pm. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in October 2015.
