According to the Royal Institute of British Architects’ Journal, Richard Rogers’ Partnership will design a fifth terminal for London’s Heathrow International Airport. The 45 metre by 384 metre terminal will cost about $8 billion. The airport now contains 100 buildings, including new coach and train stations, satellite terminals and a control tower. It is estimated that there are 1000 designers on the project, including Rogers’ team of 30 and three other architectural firms.
