Hamilton has become an architecture hotspot overnight and you’re invited to come find out why. As part of the Ontario Association of Architects 2015 conference, the Hamilton/Burlington Society of Architects invite you to explore the city through the first ever HBSA Architecture Crawl on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Discover the city’s vibrant urban renewal through an evening of architecture, music and arts featuring five unique buildings, six unique bands and one citywide celebration. This event takes place at five architecturally unique venues across the city. Each venue features performances by local musicians, exhibitions by local artists, drinks and hors d’oeuvres by local restaurants and a cash bar. Shuttle buses will operate between venues throughout the evening, providing an informal tour of the city and returning to the downtown event hub.
Tickets are limited. Order yours today by visiting www.eventbrite.ca/e/hbsa-architecture-crawl-tickets-16084245411. The cost is $65 and includes a complimentary drink, food samplings at each venue, and transportation by limo coach at 15-minute intervals between venues. A limited number of complimentary drink tickets will also be available from sponsors at each venue. All proceeds go to The Threshold School of Building, a local charity that trains at-risk youth in the construction trades.
The evening starts in the Lobby of 100 King Street West at 7:00pm, and runs until 9:30pm. Shuttle buses will be operating between the following venues:
