Fortune Contract launches Yards to Miles Design Competition

Yards of great design now mean miles of exciting travel. That’s the award for Fortune Contract’s new Yards to Miles competition, open to all professional interior designers and architects. Fortune is kicking off its Yards to Miles journey in Chicago during NeoCon from June 12-14, 2006.

This June, the search begins for design projects that are visibly different, just like Fortune carpet. By mixing texture, form, balance and color, Fortune Contract delivers a unique combination of aesthetic and structural integrity. As part of its Yards to Miles competition, Fortune is looking for creative spaces that reflect this vision.

“We’re excited to see what innovative thinking our industry has to offer,” said Judith Ingalls, Fortune’s vice-president of style and design. “Yards to Miles is a perfect way for us to honour exemplary design, planning and development.”

The Yards to Miles winner will receive an American Express travel gift card, a trophy and recognition on Fortune’s website. Projects entered must feature Fortune Contract as the predominant carpet and must have been completed between January 1, 2005 and April 1, 2007. Judging will be conducted by an independent panel of interior design professionals. To be a part of the Yards to Miles Competition, enter online at fortunecontract.com or visit Fortune at NeoCon at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, Showroom 11-35.
