Toronto’s 3rd annual Explore Design (ED) is North America’s only education fair for youth dedicated to design, art and technology. Entrepreneurialism and quality are the backbone to designing an eco-conscious future. ED is the ideal setting for kids to let their creativity flourish and learn about vast career opportunities in design and art related fields including: fashion, graphic, interior, industrial, urban, multimedia and much more!
During the two-day event, students have unlimited access to interactive seminars, demonstrations and hands-on workshops with leading design and art professionals and educators all in one space. Keynote speakers include internationally recognized design celebrities, Canadian fashion icons and technology gurus. Software giant Microsoft reveals cutting-edge technology and schools nationwide display their acclaimed design and art programs.
Explore Design ’09 takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s South Building, Halls F+G, located at 255 Front Street West. The two day event runs from Wednesday, October 14, to Thursday, October 15, 2009. Advance rate tickets (until July 31, 2009) are $12.00 per student (1-19 tickets) and $10.00 per student (20+ tickets). Beginning August 1, 2009, ticket prices are $15.00 per student student (1-19 tickets) and $12.00 per student (20+ tickets).
