by Canadian Architect

This event takes place on Wednesday, June 13 at 7:00pm in the SCI-Arc Gallery in Los Angeles.

The design process used in Dragonfly, the current SCI-Arc Gallery exhibition, reflects the impact on architecture of innovation in contemporary digital fabrication, as well as the rich potential of cooperation between architecture and engineering in exploring the relationship between structure and form. Tom Wiscombe, principal of EMERGENT, and Matthew Melnyck of Buro Happold are both on the faculty at SCI-Arc, where these methodologies are explored and tested in design studios and applied studies seminars.

Dragonfly, along with George Yu Architects SCI-Arc Library exhibition, Honda Advanced Design Center continues through July 8, 2007.
