The once-a-month DX Salon Nights bring together diverse individuals for a candid, in-person interview. The selection of interviewees is based on the interviewer’s choice – allowing for deeper insight and engaging dialogue.

The 2011 series premieres on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 with Jeremy Vandermeij, who will be interviewing Paddy Harrington, Executive Creative Director at Bruce Mau Design.

Interviewer Jeremy Vandermeij is not only the Creative Director at the Gladstone Hotel, but is also the Communications Coordinator at the Institute Without Boundaries, an instructor at Ryerson University, and the Founder and Director of Communications at the Toronto Design Offsite design festival. He has curated the Gladstone Hotel’s annual Come Up To My Room event, and has been a guest speaker at various institutions and events throughout Toronto.

Interviewee Paddy Harrington is the Toronto-based Executive Creative Director of Bruce Mau Design, a member of the MDC network of partners. His clients have included the NY Jets, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Li-Ning. He is an award-winning writer and filmmaker and is a regular contributor to FastCoDesign.

The evening begins at 6:30pm, and admission is free for DX members, and pay what you can for non-members. Drinks will be served.
