Taking place on March 4, 2008 at Design Exchange, this forum allows participants to share valuable insight and tools that will help manufacturers, designers, and business managers work together to boost innovation (and therefore profitability) in Canadian enterprises. Learn from influential policy-makers, accountants, researchers and lawyers in an interactive day-long program.
This is the launch of research findings of the Product Design and Development initiative undertaken by Industry Canada in partnership with Design Exchange. For the first time, Canadian companies will be able to compare their performance to local and international competitors.
Speakers will include experts from KPMG and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, who will cover related topics such as, tax incentives, intellectual property and calculating design investment. Case studies will be presented followed by breakout sessions that will encourage further discussion and networking opportunities.
The DX website provides a full overview, schedule of speakers and registration information. The registration deadline is February 26th, and bear in mind that seating is limited.
Full-day registration costs $75 or $60 for DX members, and includes breakfast and lunch.
