Doors Open Toronto celebrates its 10th anniversary and returns again this year, from May 23-24, 2009. One-hundred-and-seventy-five buildings of architectural, historic, cultural and/or social significance open their doors to the public.
Highlights this year include the ornately detailed BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple, the pristinely elegant Ontario Association of Architects Headquarters, the Don Valley Brick Works, MaRS Discovery District, and the first new building of the Regent Park Revitalization project.
