Giulio Cappellini is a legend in Italian furniture manufacturing. Not only has he built a reputation for championing avant-garde contemporary design, but also for discovering talents such as Marcel Wanders and Jasper Morrison. Classics from the Cappellini collection have become museum pieces, setting the standard for modern design.
While in town as a juror for the AZ Awards, Cappellini will be delivering a lecture on the DX historic trading floor on how he works with designers as well as how he has helped to evolve and nurture many of today’s most celebrated furniture designers.
Cappellini speaks at 5:30pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Design Exchange in Toronto.
Tickets are $15 and free for DX members. Limited tickets are available, so register early at http://guestlistapp.com/events/146595
