Design Exchange launches first-ever Design Auction

On Friday, May 29, 2015, join the Design Exchange for an unprecedented live and silent auction of furniture and decorative objects donated from the personal collections of local and international design stars and personalities, and limited edition items from the world-renowned interior design brands. All proceeds will support the Design Exchange’s education programs, curatorial initiatives, and the permanent collection. 

Some of the most beautiful, chic, vintage and contemporary home accessories and furniture from design greats including Kelly Wearstler, Frank Gehry, Sarah Richardson, Philippe Starck, and many more, will be on the block for DX’s can’t-miss design auction on Friday.

A champagne preview kicks off the evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by general admission and a live and silent auction from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Prices are $100 + HST for the champagne preview; and $50 + HST for general admission.

Committee co-chairs are Tommy Smythe, Arren Williams and Raymond Girard. The DXDA committee is comprised of Brandon Titaro, James Davie, Karen von Hahn, Rick Mugford, Troy Seidman, Derreck Martin, Natalie Mitrovich and Kate Thornley-Hall.
