Taking place at the Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto from October 20-23, 2011, the Delicious Food Show brings entertaining, cooking and lifestyle together in an inspired consumer show not yet seen in Toronto. In the tradition of legendary food shows around the world, the Delicious Food Show will tantalize the taste buds with decadent food and wine pairings; inspire creativity with celebrity chefs, culinary personalities and industry experts; and showcase the highest levels of food art through free seminars and exhibits.
Mingle with international celebrity chefs, top industry pros and world-class exhibiting companies in the ever changing but always exciting fields of cuisine, design and lifestyle.
Participating Food Network celebrity chefs include Corbin Tomaszeski (opening night on Thursday, October 20), Lynn Crawford and Rocky Fino (Friday, October 21), Rose Reisman (Saturday, October 22), and Bal Arneson and David Rocco (Sunday, October 23). Also, Food Network celebrity personality Padma Lakshmi speaks on Saturday, October 22, along with design/entertaining experts Dee Dee Taylor Eustace and Mike Chalut. On Friday, October 21, lifestyle expert Colin Cowie takes the stage, along with community/sustainable leaders Michael Bashaw, Regional President of Whole Foods Market, and Nick Saul, Founder of The Stop and Junior League Kids.
Unique features include Loving Local – presented by Whole Foods Market – a farmer’s market showcasing the best in a 200-mile radius. Toronto By Night Lounge features beer, wine and spirits experts sharing and inspiring a greater appreciation for selecting and pairing alcoholic beverages with certain dishes. Delicious Cakes, Cupcakes and Sweets is an event where bakers, chocolate lovers, cake and cupcake decorators will show off their artistic flair, share insights, and demonstrate the various styles and methods of cake design. The Tea Leaves and Coffee Beans presentation features the most cutting-edge and flavourful blends of teas and coffee from around the world.

A special feature of the Delicious Food Show enables visitors to get up to speed on the latest kitchen design trends with the What’s Your Design Dilemma? kitchen design consultation exhibit. Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) will offer the expertise of registered interior design professionals to show attendees with free, 15-minute interior design consultations on Saturday, October 22 from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and on Sunday, October 23 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Soak up some expert advice from a qualified professional and take a step in the right direction towards the successful completion of your project. Come to the consultations prepared with questions, floor plans and photographs of your kitchen dilemma to get the best advice possible.
Ticket prices are $18 for adults (advance) or $20 at the door. Seniors, students and groups pay $10 for a multi-day pass. Opening night tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Ticket price includes access to seminars, cooking demos and presentations.
