Heritage Toronto is offering a guided tour in both English and Spanish during Pan Am/Parapan Am and beyond. Suitable for both citizens and tourists, Creating Toronto: The Story of the City in Seven Stops is being offered from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on July 16th, July 23rd, August 6th and August 20th.
In seven brief stops at some of the city’s most celebrated sites, this tour will give you a “big picture” overview of Toronto’s history. You’ll be introduced to key moments that have shaped the city, from the trails still evident today which were created by indigenous people during our first 10,000 years, to the rise of Toronto’s Financial District, to the story of stunning homegrown scientific breakthroughs that have shaped our modern world.
Led by Heritage Toronto, the tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. The start/finish points will be provided upon registration, and the tour entails long walks on pavement, along with some negotiation of steps.
The cost is $20 per person; there is currently a special $5 discount that can be used by anyone to book the Spanish tours.
