The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and its Continuing Education Committee invites presenters to submit proposals for ConEd sessions to be considered for the 2013 OAA Conference: Reimagining the Business of Architecture.
“This year we’re looking for sessions that get architects thinking about how they can use their training, apply some innovative approaches and make an impact through new opportunities,” says OAA President, Sheena Sharp. “Tying the theme to this year’s ConEd is a main objective.”
“We are looking for presenters who excel in their areas of expertise and can deliver captivating and educational presentations. We are providing a user-friendly Call for Proposals format, to assist potential presenters in describing their Continuing Education Session, background, and learning objectives,” explains Susan Lewin, Chair of the Continuing Education Committee.
All Calls for Proposals will be considered for presenting at the 2013 Conference, which takes place from May 8 – 10, 2012 in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and InterContinental Toronto Centre.
Please visit the OAA website at www.oaa.on.ca to learn more about the opportunities and the process. To download the Call for Proposals, visit www.oaa.on.ca under “News” on the homepage. The deadline for submissions is October 26, 2012.
