The Calgary Architecture and Urban Design Alliance (CAUSA) presents Downtown Jane’s Ride on Canada Day – Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

Ride today’s and next year’s bike routes and hear about urban design and city planning initiatives. Your guides will be City of Calgary transportation engineer Blanka Bracic and senior architect and urban designer David Down. The seven-kilometre ride will be smooth, without hills, and mostly on street. White front lights and red tail lights are mandatory.

Those interested are encouraged to meet at Village Ice Cream located at 431 10th Avenue SE. Departure is at 8:45pm sharp, and the ride will end at 10:15pm at the Canada Day concert stage at the Harry Hays Building, located at Riverfront Avenue between 1st Street SE and 2nd Street SE). Stick around for the fireworks at 10:45pm.

All are welcome, and please feel free to share with colleagues and friends!
