Cycling enthusiasts with an interest in architecture (or vice versa) are invited to sign up for the AIBC’s first ever Architectural Bicycle Tour. Knowledgeable guides will share a two-wheel perspective on the evolution of Vancouver’s built environment. The three-hour 24-kilometre tour will explore portions of False Creek, Shaughnessy, Mount Pleasant, Grandview, Strathcona and East Vancouver. A detailed map of the tour route can be viewed at https://s3-ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/cdnarchitect/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/screen-shot-2013-09-03-at-4-24-08-pm.jpg.
Riders must bring their own bicycle and helmet. It takes place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 10:00am to 1:00pm, starting and ending at the Vancouver Salt Company building located at 181 – 1st Avenue West. The cost is $15 per person, and space is limited.
