Adnan Morshed received his Ph.D. from MIT’s History, Theory and Criticism section of Architecture. He is currently Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Planning, the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. A practicing architect, he has designed buildings in the U.S, Canada, Lebanon, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
Morshed has published on the theory and history of modern architecture and urbanism in the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, the Journal of Architectural Education, and Thresholds and Constructs. His book, The Architecture of Ascension is forthcoming.
