American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) team up for joint conference in 2017
Architecture Canada | RAIC and AIA National are pleased to announce they will hold a joint conference in Toronto from June 8-10, 2017.
“This will be one of the biggest gatherings of the profession held in Canada,” said George Miller, FAIA, AIA President. “We look forward to building an exciting schedule and arranging social events – the key though will be the setting and Toronto’s unique architectural offerings.”
“The first joint AIA / RAIC conference was held in Chicago in 1989,” said Randy Dhar, FRAIC Hon. AIA RAIC President. “I personally have worked with several AIA presidents and encouraged them to bring the AIA Convention to Toronto – we are so excited that finally another joint conference will be held in Toronto in 2017.”
Further details and planning are underway.
